ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Always a voracious reader, Poornima started writing at the age of eight and never really stopped, although there were many dry spells.
She found her writing voice in 2009 when a short story of hers placed in an online competition run by The Guardian newspaper. Having re-discovered her first love, she started an online blog where she continued to write articles and stories.
In 2018, her stories appeared in two separate books as a part of the India trilogy. 'Holi Moly! & other stories', the third book in the trilogy was published early 2020. Subsequent to that, she's published another book of short stories and is working on her first novel now.
Having lived half her life in India and half in the United Kingdom, besides having travelled the world extensively, she considers herself a global citizen. She is married and has two daughters.
